Question: What is the best free dvd ripper for the Motorola Droid?
I would like one with adjustable settings.

Well, it supports H.264, so just use Handbrake and rip to about 854x480 - using the iPod Touch preset may work just about right, but you can customize.
I use Handbrake all the time, the same files look awesome on my iPhone, my PSP, and my daughters eeePC. I even used my laptop to playback a file ripped specifically for the PSP on a largish TV using my laptop, it wasn't DVD quality anymore, but it was way better than VHS on a screen at least 20x bigger than that file was meant for.
