Question: Copyright question concerning hardware sales of software?
Now of course you can't sell a digital copy of an ebook, but what if I sell my computer with all the usual programs as well as the ebooks I've purchased?
I don't think anyone would question selling a second hand computer complete with its original software, but does this free pass extend to music or books licensed for that computer?
Answers:
Usually software comes with a license which is the only place you will find the answer to this question. As to the e books, as long as you are not copying them you should be fine.
