How to use Free Video to Flash Converter
Step 1. Download Free Video to Flash Converter

Step 2. Launch Free Video to Flash Converter
Follow Start > All Programs > DVDVideoSoft > Programs > Free Video to Flash Converter or just click the DVDVideoSoft Free Studio icon on the desktop.
The interface is very simple and self explaining. There is a field for input files, a field for an output path, and the lists with preconfigured profiles.
Step 3. Select Input Video Files
Click the upper Browse... button to select an input video file(s) from your computer.
Step 4. Select Output Location
Click the bottom Browse... button. Choose the location where you would like to save your converted video files. Click Ok.
Step 5. Select Output Format Profile
In the list of Formats select FLV or SWF.
In the list of Presets select one of the available pre-configured presets.
Note: by default a player can't be added to SWF file. This option is available for FLV video only. So if you want to control movie on your site you should select FLV as an output format.
Step 6. Trim Video
Click the Trim... button to open a new window.
Use the navigation line and special buttons to set markers' position for the start and end of the selection.
Click OK to switch back to the main program window.
Step 7. Select Player
Click the Player... button to open a new window.
Select a player style.
Click OK to switch back to the main program window.
Note: click the button "?" to learn more about player functions.
Note: the Player... button is disabled in case you set SWF as an output video format. If you want to add a player to your clip please choose FLV from the list of formats.
Step 8. Convert Video
Click the Convert button along the bottom of the interface and wait the video to be converted.
Note: Before clicking the Convert button you can set to turn off computer after the process is completed. Just go to Options... and make sure the appropriate box is checked.
Step 9. Playback Converted File
Open a folder with output files and run HTM file.
Step 10. Place Flash Video to Your Site
Copy the code from a sample html page to your web page.
Upload the following files to the same folder where your web page is:
player_flv_maxi.swf,
start_frame.jpg,
get_video.flv and get_video.xml.
Now you have a flash video on your site. Like this one.
Note: if after embedding video into your webpage and uploading to a Microsoft Windows 2003 server, when viewing in a browser the player says "specified file is missing", read this guide .
